Packaging for Private Label and Bulk Programs
Fibrena Underwear coordinates custom packaging for men’s underwear brands, importers, wholesalers, retail chains and e-commerce buyers. Packaging can be developed for boxer briefs, trunks, briefs and boxer shorts supplied through OEM, private label and repeat bulk-order programs.
Available options include individual polybags, paper packs, retail boxes, multipacks, barcode labels, size stickers and export cartons. The appropriate solution depends on the sales channel, product dimensions, order quantity, destination and buyer-specific packing requirements.
Packaging should be reviewed during product development rather than after bulk production. Folding method, box dimensions, barcode position, size identification and carton quantity can affect cost, packing efficiency, shipment volume and delivery time.
Individual and Retail Packaging Options
Individual packaging protects each garment and helps buyers organize products by style, color and size. Common options include clear polybags, zip bags, paper sleeves and simple paper packs. Buyers should confirm whether the bag requires a warning notice, ventilation holes, adhesive closure, barcode or recycling information.
Retail boxes provide more space for branding and product information. Box structure, paper type, dimensions, printing coverage and finishing requirements should be confirmed before a packaging sample is prepared. The folded garment must fit the box without excessive compression or unused space.
Multipack programs can combine several pieces in one bag or box. The buyer should define the number of pieces, color combination, size arrangement and visible product information for each pack.
Labels, Barcodes and Packing Identification
Packaging identification must match the approved product specification and order breakdown. Depending on the project, we can coordinate:
- Product and style labels
- Size and color stickers
- Buyer-provided barcode data
- Hangtags and paper inserts
- Polybag warning labels
- Retail box artwork
- Carton labels and shipping marks
Buyers are responsible for approving barcode numbers, product descriptions, material claims, country-of-origin wording and market-specific information. Fibrena Underwear checks the supplied artwork and packing reference for practical application but does not replace the buyer’s local compliance review.
Branding requirements can be coordinated with the garment labels and waistband through our Custom Logo & Branding service.
Packaging Artwork and Sample Approval
Please provide packaging artwork in an editable file together with the required dimensions, colors, text, barcode data and placement instructions. Pantone references can be reviewed when specific printed colors are required, although the final result should be approved on a physical packaging sample.
The approval process normally covers:
- Packaging type and dimensions
- Artwork layout and print position
- Material and color confirmation
- Barcode and label verification
- Folding and product fit
- Sample approval before bulk packing
Printed boxes, bags and paper components may have supplier-specific MOQs. New tooling, special structures or extensive printing can increase sample cost and preparation time. Packaging approval should therefore be completed alongside the garment sample whenever possible.
Export Cartons and Assortment Packing
Export packing can be arranged by solid size, mixed size ratio, color assortment or buyer-defined SKU. The packing specification should state the number of pieces per individual pack, inner box and master carton.
Before shipment, checks can cover packaging appearance, correct product and size, barcode placement, assortment ratio, carton quantity and shipping marks. Carton dimensions and gross weight are confirmed from the completed packing arrangement rather than estimated only from the garment size.
Further information about carton checks and shipping preparation is available on our Packaging & Export Preparation page.
MOQ, Timing and Quotation Requirements
Custom packaging MOQ depends on the packaging structure, material, printing method, artwork and packaging supplier. A private label underwear order generally starts from 1,000–3,000 pieces, but printed boxes or special bags may have separate minimum quantities.
Complex packaging can extend the standard production schedule of approximately 25–35 days. Programs requiring new box structures, multiple printed components or detailed multipack assembly may require around 35–45 days after product and packaging approval.
For an accurate quotation, please provide the underwear style, order quantity, size and color breakdown, packaging reference, artwork, barcode requirements, pieces per pack, carton arrangement, destination and target shipment date. Packaging feasibility, MOQ, sample requirements and lead time will be reviewed as part of the complete Private Label Underwear project.
