Development Based on Your Product Requirements
Fibrena Underwear develops custom boxer briefs, trunks and briefs for private label brands, importers, wholesalers, retail chains and e-commerce programs. Development can begin from a tech pack, physical sample, reference image or one of our existing underwear styles.
We first review the product construction, target fabric, size range, estimated quantity, waistband, branding and packaging. This initial review helps determine whether the project can use established materials and patterns or requires new sourcing, pattern development and additional sampling.

Product Construction and Material Review
Product development is not limited to changing a color or adding a logo. The construction may involve the pouch shape, front and back panels, rise, leg length, leg opening, seam type and waistband attachment.
Material confirmation covers composition, GSM, hand feel, stretch, recovery and opacity. Cotton/spandex, modal blends, bamboo-derived regenerated cellulose blends and polyester/spandex may require different pattern adjustments because they do not stretch or recover in the same way.
If a specific fabric is required, availability and minimum fabric quantities should be checked before the final quotation and sample schedule are confirmed.
Pattern, Size and Fit Development
A buyer size chart or reference garment provides the most reliable starting point for pattern development. Key measurements normally include waist, hip, front rise, back rise, leg opening and outseam length.
We review how these measurements relate to the selected fabric and underwear construction. The prototype is then checked against the agreed measurement points. Buyer comments should identify whether an adjustment concerns fit, measurement, construction or appearance so the next sample can be revised accurately.

Prototype Sample and Revision
The first custom sample is used to assess the overall direction rather than to authorize immediate production. Buyers should review:
- Fabric hand feel and stretch
- Garment construction and seam appearance
- Waist, rise, leg length and leg opening
- Waistband width, elasticity and attachment
- Logo, label and color placement
- General comfort and fit
- Folding and packaging requirements
Custom samples usually require approximately 7–15 days, depending on fabric sourcing, pattern work, construction and waistband or artwork preparation. Sample costs and courier charges are quoted according to the actual development requirements.
Pre-Production Approval
Before bulk production, the buyer should approve the fabric, construction, measurements, color, waistband, labels and packaging. The approved sample and confirmed specification then become the production reference.

Changes requested after approval may affect material use, MOQ, cost and production timing. Major changes to fabric, pattern or waistband normally require a revised sample before production can proceed.
MOQ, Lead Time and Bulk Production
Typical MOQ is approximately 500–1,000 pieces per style and color for standard programs. Private label projects commonly require around 1,000–3,000 pieces, depending on fabric, construction, waistband, labels and printed packaging.
After sample approval and deposit confirmation, standard bulk orders usually require around 25–35 days. More complex private label programs may require approximately 35–45 days. Finished production is checked against the approved product and packing references before shipment.
