Packing Follows the Approved Order Specification
Packaging is treated as part of the production specification rather than a final decorative step. The correct garment must be matched with the approved size label, barcode, individual pack, assortment ratio, carton quantity and shipping mark.
Fibrena Underwear prepares packing for wholesale, private label, retail-chain and e-commerce orders. Available formats can include individual poly bags, paper packs, retail boxes and multi-piece packs, subject to the project specification and material availability.
Custom structures, artwork and branding should be approved through Custom Packaging Solutions before bulk packaging materials are released.
Garment Finishing and Folding
Before packing, finished underwear is reviewed for visible workmanship issues, loose threads, stains, size identification and general appearance. Garments requiring correction should be separated before they reach the packing table.
The folding method is defined according to the packaging structure and display requirement. Boxer briefs packed in a retail box may require a different fold from products placed in clear poly bags or paper sleeves.
Consistent folding helps control pack dimensions, presentation and carton utilization. Inserts, backing cards or other components should be confirmed during sampling if they are part of the required packing structure.
Label, Barcode and SKU Matching
Packers match each garment with its size label, barcode and packaging according to the confirmed SKU breakdown. This is particularly important for orders containing several styles, colors and sizes.
Checks may cover:
- Garment style, color and size
- Care and size label information
- Barcode number and printed clarity
- Retail box or paper-pack version
- Pack quantity for single or multi-piece sets
- Required hangtags, stickers or inserts
- Buyer-specific SKU identification
Buyers should provide final barcode files and packaging artwork before material production. Late revisions can affect printing schedules, packing progress and shipment timing.
Individual and Retail Packaging
Individual packing may use transparent poly bags, printed bags, paper sleeves, folding cartons or other approved formats. The chosen structure should suit the garment thickness, target presentation, packing quantity and shipping method.
For private label programs, packaging color, logo placement, size identification and barcode position are checked against the approved sample or artwork. Any packaging claims, warnings or market-specific information remain subject to buyer confirmation.
The garment should fit the pack without excessive compression or uncontrolled movement. Packaging dimensions also influence master-carton size and freight efficiency.
Assortment and Carton Packing
Packed products are grouped according to the purchase order’s color and size ratio. Inner packs and master cartons are prepared using the confirmed quantity, assortment and carton-mark instructions.
Carton checks can include:
- SKU and quantity per carton
- Size and color assortment
- Carton dimensions and gross or net weight
- Shipping marks and carton numbers
- Barcode or destination labels
- Carton closure and external condition
Mixed-SKU cartons should be clearly defined in the packing specification to reduce receiving and inventory errors at the buyer’s warehouse.
Final Packing Inspection and Goods Release
Before dispatch, finished products and packaging are compared with the approved requirements. Inspection may cover garment appearance, labels, barcodes, individual packs, retail boxes, assortment ratios, carton quantities and shipping marks.
Buyer-nominated third-party inspection can be coordinated when required. Inspection timing and access requirements should be confirmed before shipment booking. Additional quality-control details are available on the Quality Inspection & Testing page.
Export and Shipment Coordination
Fibrena Underwear can coordinate shipments under EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP terms according to the destination and order requirements. Ningbo and Shanghai are the main nearby export ports referenced for shipment planning.
The buyer should provide the destination country, consignee information, required trade term, target shipment date and any documentation instructions. Freight quotations and DDP feasibility depend on the destination, cargo volume and current shipping arrangements.
Information Needed Before Packing Production
To prepare an accurate quotation and packing plan, provide the garment quantity by SKU, folding method, individual pack type, retail packaging artwork, barcode files, size labels, assortment ratio, carton requirements, shipping marks, destination and preferred trade term.
Packing materials should be approved early enough to match the bulk production schedule. Complex printed boxes, several packaging versions or late barcode changes may extend the final delivery timeline.
